Regional Finance Business Partner
The management role reporting to Energy Finance Director based in Warwick, UK and MECA Regional Director based in the Regional Headquarters in the UAE covering more than 10 countries (total annual turnover more than USD130 mln; more than 140 employees).
Responsibilities include analysis of and recommendations to the Regional Director and the project team on financial business objectives and plans, monitoring business performance, financial forecasting and providing business and financial decision support.

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan
Main achievements:
• Provided the management governance of the project margins on a monthly basis validating the BB, PFS, CPMT in region to achieve and maintain the gross margin in the MECA region > 32% for ESOL, LTSA and ADHOC;
• Successful cost reduction program to reduce the operating costs to be significantly below the budget of $38m by providing a management governance and identification of operating and budgets performance;
• Maintained and reported on a Quarterly basis the regional competitive cost rates for Service Operations and project management;
• Ensured all hours are CATS booked as required with < 30day turnaround, closely cooperated with the Cost Center owners for the variances rectification;
• 100% Compliance to local legislation requirements, internal requirements & operating processes;
• Achieved Customer invoicing to be submitted on time < 30day from demobilisation;
• Developed a meaningful and user friendly Debt report in support of timely cash collection, < 20% debt.
Key Functions:
• Provide leadership of Finance function, help the business to develop and implement strategy and to resolve an deliver the organizations strategic objectives sustainably and in the interests of the shareholders;
• Managing the finance team regionally including remote management overseas;
• Support cost reduction and investment decisions by providing clear analysis; preparation and interpretation of budgets control data to support the effective management of the business; maintain processes to enable accurate forecasts;
• Drive the performance of the regional and the country teams to deliver sales opportunities and an appropriate cost base;
• Review the progress of LTSA contracts and ESOL projects in region and ensure financial efficiency and compliance with the accounting procedures and policies;
• Monthly commercial and financial review of the business and follow-up advise to the relevant business leaders concerting advantageous changes in commercial and financial policies and procedures;
• Thorough analysis of the variances between the actuals and target numbers with the detailed explanation of the reasons and identifying the trends;
• Communicate and lead discussion on financial performance to ensure meeting the financial commitments and goals;
• Identification of trends and issues arising from analysis of the business & financial data to influence strategic and tactical decisions;
• Providing financial policy governance and professional advice to the business;
• Supporting the Finance Director Customer Business in consolidation of results and forecasts to satisfy Energy HQ and Group requirements;
• Proposing and supporting the business with the cost reduction initiatives;
• Risk management and fraud prevention analysis and enhancement proposals;
• Analysis and implementation of the tax efficient business models;
• Representing the company with and communication with the state authorities;
• Managing internal and external financial and tax audits;
• Provide governance and finance support for the various in country offices;
